Care Tips for Dry and Damaged Hair
Dry and Damaged Hair
Did you know that your hair can get dry just like your skin? Hair that lacks sufficient moisture becomes dry and dull over time. Lack of moisture in the hair causes dullness, and dry hair therefore has a weaker appearance. It is possible for the hair to regain the moisture it needs with appropriate care. For this, there are some rules you must follow. When you follow these rules, you will see that your hair is more hydrated, vibrant, and shiny than before.
Care Tips for Dry Hair
Do not dry your hair with a hairdryer every day and do not blow-dry your hair every day. Heated rollers also disrupt your hair's moisture balance and cause it to dry out. Avoid using heated rollers as well. Women who go to the sauna in winter should wrap their hair with a towel. In the summer, you should take care to use a hat and bandana at the beach to reduce moisture loss in your hair. Water is your hair's number one friend, just like your skin. Drinking enough water throughout the day (at least 2 liters) will minimize moisture loss in your hair. After applying lotion to your hands, run your hands through your hair; you will feel your hair becoming moisturized along with your hands. You can use a hair-end tonic for moisture loss at the ends of your hair. You can protect your hair by using a protective spray before blow-drying.
