History

The name diamond comes from the Greek word "adamas," meaning "unconquerable." Its English equivalent is "diamond." Throughout history, it has been an indispensable element of male-female relationships as a symbol of love. Diamond, obtained by special carving and cutting after processing diamond that remained under the ground for millions of years, is a stone that is as valuable spiritually as it is materially. The history of diamonds dates back to the 500s BC. People, who found a very bright stone on the bank of a river in India for the first time, named it "Tears of God" and considered this stone sacred. Europeans met this stone thanks to Alexander the Great. At that time, the idea of healing was added to the notion of the stone's sacredness. Diamond began to be a symbol of power and status when it was used in the crown of the Hungarian queen. From this period onwards, diamond, which had become a symbol of status and power, became indispensable to the jewelry industry with its use in jewelry, cut by diamond itself.
