Support for Solar Energy

KTU (Karadeniz Technical University) announced that it provided approximately 2 million TL in support for many different projects last year. Among these projects, the most notable part was the studies to determine the solar energy potential in the Of district of Trabzon. According to the studies conducted, it was announced that the cost reduction in solar energy prices and the effective use of renewable energy sources are fully supported by KTU.

Free Electricity Production with Solar Energy

It is stated that new studies will be initiated after the full determination of wind and solar energy potential in the Of district in the near future, and thus, free electricity production will be implemented. However, no specific date has been set for this matter at the moment.
